Civil Litigation

Civil litigation is the process of resolving a legal dispute between two or more parties (individuals or business entities) who seek compensation (in the form of money) for damages incurred or specific performances that were not delivered.
As a client advocate, the attorney must develop the best legal theories possible and gather the facts to support those theories; the attorney's goal is to achieve the best result at trial or a favorable settlement without a trial.
Areas of civil litigation include, but are not limited to, breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes, employment discrimination/wrongful termination, divorce, and medical malpractice cases.
