charla garrison

(Executive Producer)

Charla has been in the Tampa Bay area for over eleven years now. She originally hails from Dayton, Ohio. While up north, she was the stage manager for several statewide shows, including two USO shows for the Governor of Ohio and several Holiday Musical Revues. Charla also worked closely with the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, doing everything from coordinating entertainers, to backstage crew, to wardrobe. She was a professional DJ and Emcee for 10 years, working everything from weddings to graduation parties, as well as becoming an on-air personality with two very popular Dayton area radio stations. She is currently the Executive Producer and Stage Manager for The Detective Dinner Theater, as well as the writer and director of INVITATION TO MURDER!, A WEDDING TO KILL FOR!, DISCO IS DEAD!, BON VOYAGE MRS. SHIVITZ...FOREVER!, ALL ABOARD FOR MURDER!, MURDER ON THE RED CARPET!, THE POISON LOUNGE!, I SENSE A MURDER!, MURDER ON THE SET!, MURDER AT D’LUCCI’S GIN JOINT!, A KILLER SURPRISE PARTY! THE SPY WHO KILLED ME!, I’VE GOT TALENT...FOR MURDER!, BAXTER HARRINGTON’S DEADLY CAMPAIGN!, A LESSON IN MURDER!, MURDER AT THE GOLDEN GRAND! and several others, not to mention several skits and personalized murder mysteries for private parties. Charla is currently writing a murder mystery suspense novel, as well!

Mallory clark

MALLORY is new to the Dinner Theater scene and is enjoying every minute of her new found passion! She is a Florida native, and graduated from Clearwater High School. Her long-term goals include modeling and acting. She has experience in modeling starting all the way back when she was a sashay model at the young age of 9 and 10. She has experience in casting calls for modeling jobs, Nickalodian, Oscar Meyer Co. as well as game shows. And she was most recently an on location extra in the major motion picture DOLPHIN TALE 2!

TARA DUFFY

Tara is one of the youngest actress with The Detective Dinner Theater. Despite her young age, Tara has been in numerous productions such as PSYCHO AT THE PARADISE LOUNGE, THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, POP UP PLAYERS, A STREET CAR NAMED DESIRE and the female version of THE ODD COUPLE. She has been studying theatre for five years now and is currently working on her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. Tara studied voice and dance and has worked on her vocal skills, her dance skills as well as her improve skills by attending many state workshops. She has even interned at The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. She has been in Detective Dinner Theater productions of: in I SENSE A MURDER!, ALL ABOARD FOR MURDER!, MURDER ON THE SET!, THE SPY WHO KILLED ME! and I’VE GOT TALENT...FOR MURDER!

Ricky laub

Ricky is naturally an articulate, well rounded, imaginative comedic and creative type of person. He has extensive experience in the entertainment field. He is a great MC and host, a professional voice-over artist and an outstanding performer. He has experience in improv theatre, and has been in many stage performances as well as training videos. Some of his most recent appearances have been in: STOP KISS, ELVIS MONOLOGUES, NEXT STOP BROADWAY, THE HITCHHIKER and SORRY WRONG NUMBER. You may have heard him in a voice-over in such TV and radio spots as ASK DAVE, AUTO LOAN, CROSS GENERATIONS COMIC and THE BOB SHOW. Ricky is also a talent vocalist and drummer!

Charles Miller

Charles Miller is a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, growing up in St. Petersburg and attended Lakewood High School. This is his first real acting experience - and he has definitely found his calling! But he has always been artistic. In the past, Charles focused mostly on visual arts as a painter and artist. He is very athletic as well and even played semi-professional football for several years!

Charles is used to speaking in public and even practices that skill daily in his full time job as a science teacher. He also has been a trivia host at several local establishments.

Charles actually does have an acting pedigree - his grandmother and cousin both performed on Broadway!

Chase Mullen

Chase is ecstatic to be apart of The Detective Dinner Theatre! She is new to the St. Petersburg Theater scene, however, acting has been her passion since she was nearly 5 years old. Chase received her acting conservatory training at Walden Theatre in Louisville, KY where she spent 10 years working on her craft. During those years, she concentrated on classical and Elizabethan Theatre. She was also deeply involved in her Ensemble Theatre at Ballard High School where she was a theater magnet student. Professionally, she has worked at The Alley Regional Theatre in Louisville, KY where she appeared in This Is Not A Pipe Dream, Zombie Musical, My So Called So Called Life, and Snow Angel. Chase is also a Halloween fanatic, and worked in the haunt industry for 4 years at Baxter Avenue Morgue and Asylum Haunted Screampark as a professional actor in Louisville, KY. She studied Theatre at Northern Kentucky University, and she is more than thrilled to be continuing her theatre and marketing education at Saint Leo University.

Shanon Norman

Shanon Marie Norman, 45, born in New Jersey and bloomed in Florida. With an Italian mother and Croatian grandmother raising her, she learned about language and can even sing a few songs in Croatian. Growing up close to New York City had its perks. Having seen “Evita” starring Patti Lupone on Broadway at the age of 9, Shanon was smitten with performing arts. Brief studies in piano and clarinet taught her that she preferred acting and singing over playing an instrument.

Shanon’s high school and college years allowed her to audition and perform in several productions. Her favorite roles include playing Beverly in The Shadowbox, Jan in Grease, and Betty Boop in The Roaring Twenties. While working for the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (now called The Straz Center), Shanon was privileged to see many famous shows and learned much about the theater business. After the birth of her son in 1997, Shanon chose to major in English Education at the University of South Florida graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2001. She has taught at Tampa Bay Technical High School, Hillsborough High School, Dixie Hollins High School, Mount Moriah Christian Fundamental Academy, and substituted at schools throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

Currently residing in Clearwater with her husband George and her lab pup Lillian, Shanon is the co-owner of a small landscaping and lawn service company - Lawns by Norman. She also freelances for writing projects, assists as a Wedding Caterer and DJ, and is an Independent Sales Rep for AVON. Her personal website can be found at www.shanonnorman.wix.com/autobio. Her short term goals include becoming an official Notary and finishing painting her kitchen. Her long term goals include contributing to The Detective Dinner Theater and the church she attends – Friendship United Methodist. She and George dream of purchasing a home and traveling the world. Shanon says “I’m thrilled to have a role in The Detective Dinner Theater and hope that more and more people realize what a gem of entertainment and dining it is.”

Emily Rogers

Emily Rogers has been acting since 2009 in Tampa, Florida where she resides. She was introduced to acting through private drama lessons when she was eight years old. Over the years, she has completed several voice acting classes, adult acting classes and her most recent training in adult improv techniques. Her performances include stage, independent films, an improv showcase and participation in regional theatre festivals. Emily is excited about joining the cast of Detective Dinner Theater. In 2016, she plans to pursue roles requiring unique voice over talent. Emily is self employed and works as an independent consultant specializing in solving complex business problems for government and the private sector. Other than consulting and acting, her passions include international travel, oil painting, tennis, politics, volunteerism/community service, public speaking and spending time with her family and friends.

Tess Standfast

Tess has been involved in theater for as long as she can remember! She has studied at Venue Theatre in St. Petersburg and The University of Florida. She has been in several local productions, including: FIVE WOMEN WEARING DRESSES, BETWEEN DAYLIGHT AND BOONVILLE, THE DINING ROOM, LIGHT SENSITIVE, SINGLE AND PROUD and LOW LEVEL PANIC.

Tess as been in film and television with Mudraker Films in productions such as: IMPROBABLE PART 1, AMERICAN DRONE and DIVORCE PARTY.

Eileen lymus-sanders

Eileen is a very talented and experienced actress, singer and performer. She has a BA in elementary Education. And has studied both voice and acting with several very talented instructors. Eileen has been a featured performer aboard several cruise lines for the past three years. Including: Quantum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas. She has been a star vocalist and actress in STARWATER, HAIRSPRAY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, RESPECT - A MUSICAL JOURNEY OF WOMEN, BLUES BROTHERS RHYTHM AND BLUES REVUE, BROADWAY ROCKS!, KATONGA, HAVEN, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE, DREAMGIRLS, SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW and BROADWAY GONE MAD - just to name a few! She has been a guest vocalist and featured vocalist for Bands and Production Companies such as: VORTEX DANCE COMPANY, GEORGE GARANIAN BAND, HEARTFELT INC. DREAMGIRLS and SMS PRODUCTIONS
