What a comfy, friendly place! So many flavor options, cozy seating, and Ali is so kind and welcoming. The prices are really appropriate, and much less than many other hookah lounges in Pittsburgh. I'll definitely be back - and next time I'll ask Ali for his flavor recommendation since this time he showed us so many good choices.
We love the atmosphere here. Ali, the owner is so kind and welcoming. If you are looking for a more traditional Hookah bar then this is the place. The owner makes you feel like an old friend. If you want to converse he will or if you just want to relax you can do that as well. This is a great place to go out with friends for the evening.
I'm glad we found this spot because I know we're going to be regulars. All the other reviewers are spot on.
The vibe is very relaxed and "chill" & Ali, the owner, is a great guy.
They have a good selection of flavors, including some of the hard to find Indian flavors like Pan Masala, and they use coconut coal
(none of that nasty quick light stuff) so it burns smoothly and you get dense, smooth smoke without any artificial coal taste.
Ali will let you add songs to his YouTube playlist if you like and they also have a private room in the back with Kinex if you're
feeling nostalgic about some DDR. If you want to kick back and play some Xbox, they've got you covered.
Give this place a shot. It's lit.
All the reviews are true! Super charming, relaxed, chill vibe. There's a nice private room in the back which fits 7 comfortably, though ample room for more. The tea is delicious and the owner is knowledgeable and very kind...gave us Chromecast access so we picked various YouTube videos to watch while smoking. Hidden late-night gem of Squirrel Hill for sure!
Such a cute, warm and cozy place! The owner was very kind to us. My boyfriend and I came here from NYC, just looking for a chill spot to relax and smoke hookah. We ordered one of the specials. It was called death by icy fruity which was good and got a Persian tea which was also good. We were offered biscotti and preference of what music we wanted to hear. Music was already mellow and not loud that you can actually have a conversation. When we were leaving we dropped something important by mistake and the owner ran outside to give us.
One of the best places to visit and talk to Ali. I had two hookahs and time of my life. And he is putting Xbox. BYOB an option.
There are tons of options and if he likes you.. you can have his favorite ones. Chilled pipe and options of food (you can bring from outside)
is something makes me feel like home. By the way check out his Iranian rugs.
Not many people know of this place, but this place is awesome. The ambience is amazing and the owner is so cool. We asked him to play bollywood songs on his TV and bang he had it. The hookah here is also very good. He has Indian flavors too.
New favorite hookah bar! Wide flavor variety, fantastic staff! Free tea or coffee! Great selection of other drinks as well! great hours! No drink per chase required like every other Pittsburgh area hookah bar. Free wifi. If you get the private room you can stream YouTube!
Fantastic place! Ali's a great friendly guy. I recommend this play strongly. Great atmosphere, great music, and a great host!
This place is the best hookah lounge that I have been to in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere is amazing and there are couches to lounge on unlike other hookah bars that just have uncomfortable tables. The owner is amazing and really knows his stuff. Great way to relax in the evening, I was thoroughly impressed!
We stumbled across Drift on its opening night and are very glad we did! It's a block down from Jerry's, away from the usual foot traffic, and it's a great place to get away. Squirrel Hill has always needed a hookah lounge and Drift is a fine match for it: Nice decor, a pleasant, casual atmosphere, and excellent service so far. It's a small-ish lounge with comfortable cushioned benches lining the walls. It's brighter, more open, and more friendly than other lounges, and they keep the music down. There was a good selection of flavors and drinks, although they were still working on getting the menus. We really enjoyed sitting back for an hour or two, smoking good hookah, drinking Persian tea, conversing and listening to the murmur of talk and international music in the background. It felt like a more adult hookah experience than most in Pittsburgh, and we're looking forward to going back again.
