DAY1. Arrive in Addis Ababa and sightseeing.

After arriving at bole international airport, you have two options you can either directly drive to one of the nearest destination rift valley lakes, langano or Awasa 150 and 250 km from the capital city, respeclevely. Or you can stay in Addis Ababa and visit the sightseeing then drive the next day to Arba Minch. O/N hotel in Addis Ababa.

Day2. Drive from langano to Arbaminch(250km).

After breakfast drive towards the south direction and visit the Alaba village on the way to Arbaminch. In the afternoon visit Dorse village, known by their waving skill, elephant ear style of house and their falls banana bread(Enset). They are the earliest settler people in the south part of Ethiopia and practicing farming activities unlike the other ethnic tribe in the south omo valley practicing nomadic activities. Day3. Boat trip on lake Chamo and cross the lake to see Nech sar park.

Make a boat tripe on lake Chamo to see the giant African crocodile which measures up to seven meter, Hippopotamus and the aquatic birds on the lake and finally cross the lake to see wildlife in Nech Sar National Park (white grass). This park is found near the southern end of the Rift Valley system. Day4. Drive to jinka via Konso.

After 90 km drive, you met the people of konso and their terrace landscape (UNICCO heritage) before you proceed to Jinka. This people is known by terrace and village wall building. After lunch visit the konso ticked stone wall village and proceed to the omo valley which is the lowest point in the south part of Ethiopia where a diversified ethnic groups are also found. Karo is the smallest ethnic tribe in the south omo valley. They live at the bank of Omo River, which is the second biggest river in Ethiopia and drain to Lake Turkana. The Karo people are fisher and known by their extravagant body decoration. Afternoon visit the beautifl Hammer trieb with unique hairstyles, different cultural traits, ornamental traditions and more. Visit some very interesting villages and folk dances. If by chance it happens, you will see the Hammar marriage ceremony with unique celebrations, such as the bull jumping by men and many others. Day7. Excursion to Omorate (75km) to visit the Dasenech tribe.

Day4. Drive to Jinka via Konso.

Drive to Jinka, admiring on the way the interesting Konso, Derase, Ari, Benna and Tsemay people, very famous for hairstyles, their unique culture and traditions, as the ornaments all over their body. Day5. Excursion to Mursi tribe.

Drive early morning through the mago national park to visit the Mursi people and their villages. Here for beauty, women insert round clay plates to their lower lips. Day6. Excursion to Karo people.

Cross the Karo people and visit their village of Kortcho, with beautiful views over the Omo River. Karo people are famous for their extravagant hairstyle in men and for the different ornaments and painting all over their body all men, women and children. In the morning drive 120 km from yabello towards the Kenyan border to see Elsod salt crater where the Borona nomadic tribe fetch the salt from the lake to feed their heard. After noon drive to Yergalem through one of the best coffee plantation region in Ethiopia. O/N hotel in yrgalem.

Day10. Drive to Bale mountains national park(250km).

Arrive at the park headquarters in the afternoon, in time for a leisurely afternoon hike, possibly spotting two endemic mammals that frequent the area: Menelik’s Bushbuck and the Mountain Nyala. Birds in this area include the Blue-Winged Goose, the Spot-Breasted Lapwing, the Abyssinian Long Claw, the Wattled Ibis, the Black-Headed Siskin, Rouget’s Rail, and numerous other species. Overnight Camping.

Day11. Trekking whole day in Bale Mountain Park. O/N camp or hotel in Bale.

Day12. Drive to either langano or Hawasa in one of rift valley lake for relaxtion.

Day13. Drive back to Addis Ababa and departure.
