Garnet Denton

Garnett Denton aka ‘Codfish’ is originally from Farm Heights in Montego Bay, St. James. He was a member of the William Knibb Memorial HS DaCosta Cup teams in 1986, 1987, 1988 & 1989.

After graduating from ‘Knibb’, he first played for Hornets Organization and then Violet Kickers FC, where he was a member of two Premiere League Championship teams. During his time at Violet Kickers, Denton’s strong defensive play earned him an invitation as a Jamaica National squad representative/invitee.

Garnett played for Police Nationals after joining the JCF, and he also played for Black Stars (ST. Ann) & Invaders FC (Trelawny) in the National Premiere League before he resigned from the JCF and migrated to Florida, USA.
