Mike's Car Clinic was founded by Michael Chon in 1986 in Concord Ca. As a child, Michael spent his days watching his father rebuild classic cars. It was during this time that Michael learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Michael graduated high school in San Francisco he decided to enter College of Alameda Auto Tech, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines. Although Michael was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Michael never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped.
