Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. It applies to both adult men and women between 18 and 65 years old, and helps to indicate whether you are overweight, obese, underweight or normal.

Underweight - Less than 18.5
Normal weight - 18.5-24.9
Overweight - 25-29.9
Obesity - BMI of 30 or greater
How to Calculate Your BMI
The standard formula for calculating BMI is :
Weight in pounds x 703/ [Height in inches x Height in inches]
To calculate your BMI (you will need a calculator for this) :
Write down your weight (in pounds)
Multiply it by 703
Then divide the result by your height (in inches)
Again divide the result by your height (in inches)

Kapha imbalances commonly manifest increased body weight, cold congestion sluggishness water retention and bronchitis.
