Curtis ‘Newborn’ Nembhard

Curtis Nembhard started playing organized football when he represented Independence City All Age School at the U-13 level. He then played U-16 for Westchester in Portmore and also represented them in the Division 1 and Division 2 competitions.

Nembhard moved on to play for Dinthill Technical, where he was a member of the Colts team before representing the school in the DaCosta Cup competition for three years, from 1988-1990. The high point of his time at Dinthill was when they progressed to the Ben Francis Cup Semi Finals. Curtis migrated to the US and played for Soccer Kids in the Brooklyn League and also Midlanders and Yawdaz in the Bronx New York Inter- national League (BNYISL).
