Kingston College

Kingston College open April 16 , 1925 at 114 3/4 East Street with 49 boys… where the Gleaner Company now stands. The school was move to 2A North Street in 1934. KC

Entered Manning Cup for the first in 1928 and have won there first in 1949 and have won 16 Manning Cup since. Kingston College and STGC are tied with 9 for the most Walker Cup. Only school to win the triple three times and have won the Olivier Shield 7 times. And without a doubt have produced the greatest school boy team ever, the 1964/1965 team.

Jason Royes

Kingston College (KC)

Jason Royes represented the 1992 KC Colts Championship team before going on to rep- resent the school in the Corporate Area schoolboy (Manning Cup) competition from 1994 to 1996.

Jason also developed his skills at the youth level playing with Harbour View FC, and was a member of their championship win- ning 1993 Minor League team. He also represented Garveymeade FC – at the U-16 level.

Jason Royes played for Tivoli Gardens FC in the Jamaica National Premier League (NPL), and was selected to represent Jamaica at the U-23 level. Jason also played for Monroe College (USA) 2003-2005 and earned All-American honours for his sterling play. Royes is a very versatile player and is capable of play- ing in multiple positions at a high standard.
