The advancement of medical science allows our doctors to replace a patient’s damaged organ with a donor’s healthier organ and save lives. According to Center for Disease Control and Prevention, about 75,000 people are waiting for organ donors with some of the most commonly transplanted organs being the kidney, liver, heart, lungs, pancreases, and intestines.
