This workshop will utilize your agency’s own documents and our materials. The session will be held at your location utilizing your equipment. Each attendee will:

- receive a binder of documents.
- be asked to submit to their documents two weeks before the session.
- be allowed to submit questions by email for two weeks after the session as part of the workshop fee.

This workshop will require 3 to 5 hours of time depending on the number of attendees and the number of contracts reviewed. Our General Budget suggestion is $495 for one attendee and $135 for each additional attendee. Based on your location and distance from San Leandro, we will provide a written quote with a maximum price based on the actual number of attendees. Our hourly rates are $35 to $75.

Instructor: Darrell Heppner

Since 1977, he has been providing insurance and risk management services to businesses and public agencies including risk pools and self-insured entities. His platform is prevention, risk modification, risk reduction, risk transfers & zero harm programs. For those accidents and injuries that do happen, prompt reporting, professional services and prudent resolutions are his game plan. A detailed prevention and safety program for each department with one and two-year budgets set the tone for positive results. He participated in the creation of the accreditation program and formation of the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities and a long time member of RIMS and PARMA.

joint powers authorities and risk pools. Rates are $65 to $95 per hour. Using special loss reports from claims administrators, multiple year programs can be created for each department and the organization as a whole.
