Planet Mars is called as Kuja or Mangal. If Mars resides in the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th houses from one`s ascendant or lagna in the horoscope, then he is called as Manglik or he is said to have kuja dosham. Before marriage, while matching horoscopes, it is always verified whether Mars is in one of the above said houses or not.

If both the horoscopes are not manglik, then it is very good. If both the horoscopes are manglik, then it is still good match. If one of the horoscopes has manglik, and the other doesn`t have then it is not a good match.
