DESIGN/ BUILD SERVICES FOR BRENTWOOD DPW FACILITY

This is a fast track project that requires the unique capabilities of Dynamic Corporation design and construction management teams. This is a design/ build project that required performance immediately after the issuance of notice to proceed. This project required the design, permitting and construction of new 3,000 square meters two stories office facility to house over 450 Department of Public Works Personnel and 1100 surface parking spaces for personnel and equipment on a 40,000 square meter lot in Washington, D.C. The design was done in accordance with DCRA, BOCA, NFPA and LEED guidelines. The project performance period was less than 14 months. Due to the nature of design/build project, the site clearing, and utility relocation efforts began immediately after Dynamic Corporation mobilized to the site. The project was successfully completed over 45 days ahead of schedule. As the Prime Contractor, Dynamic was responsible for all work. The project involve emergency (rapid response) Design/Construction support services for the relocation of DC Department of Public Works Solid Waste, Tree Division and Salt Operations to the Brentwood Site. Dynamic Corporation was responsible for site clearing, demolition, and paving of approximately 40,000 square meters and the design and construction of a 13,000 Ton Salt Storage Facility.
