Qualification Requirements

All officers accepted and employed by ACPSS would posses valid state permits and have them in their possession at all time while on duty. These permits are issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs and must corresponds to such items as follows:

  • A. GUARD REGISTRATION CARD
  • B. FIREARMS PERMIT
  • C. TEAR GAS PERMIT
  • D. PR- 24

ACPSS provides a thorough background check, such as previous employment and history of Reliability.

Upon acceptance, ACPSS employees are placed in a mandatory 90-days probationary program. Once completing their initial 90 days employment, every security officer is individually Reviewed and evaluated by ACPSS management in a personal conference. After careful Examination of performance records, office is critiqued in each of the following areas:

Attendance, punctuality, uniforms, personal appearance, job performance, adherence to policy, And client satisfaction.

Each employee obtaining a satisfactory rating is notified in writing and given a wage increase And/or promotion. Those employees determent to be unsatisfactory are likewise notified and Given a 30-day notice to correct the deficiencies.

In the event of illness or accident to the officer on duty, a supervisor who is entirely familiar With the locations and all available officers will select and assign a replacement officer. If Necessary, on-the-job training will be conducted to assure ability of the replacement perform necessary tasks. When notice time is too short, the supervisor will personally assume the post duties until arrangements can be made for a replacement to report and relieve the supervisor.

ACPSS ensures that officers arrive on post at designated starting times. If an officer does not check in on time, the on-the-job officer is requested to notifY the branch officer and continue to cover his post until relieved. This precludes any open coverage and his provided at the standard billing rate.
