Pinellas County Residents now get First Call
With a new hurricane season comes a new, more capable emergency alert system. Pinellas County’s FirstCall service is free to County Residents and gets the word out whenever an emergency situation arises. Residents simply register their contact information with FirstCall, and an automated message will be sent to alert subscribers of potentially hazardous situations. Residents can sign up for the service by visiting https://alertregistration.com/PinellasCoFLEMS/ or calling (866) 484-3264. All contact information will remain protected and confidential.

The site plan for the proposed Belleair Bluffs fire station shows the driveway circling around the back so the fire trucks can drive through the apparatus bays on the west side of the building. A wall is planned for the west and north sides of the property to reduce noise for neighboring homes. To the east is the city’s Public Works building.
One of the proposed designs for the new Belleair Bluffs fire station features brick at the front entrance area.

Pinellas County Utilities is cautioning customers to beware of companies recommending that a water test be conducted in your home. Such companies often use scare tactics and misrepresentation to sell a water treatment product and Utilities has learned that customers are again being approached about having their water tested.
