Fitness Connection Group Classes

We have group fitness classes that MOVE YOU! Come in and get fit today! We currently offer 32 classes each week that range in intensity from Chair Yoga to BootCamp and we have everything in-between. Each class is led by our AMAZING instructors. Our classes offer connection and community, high energy, motivation, challenge, mindfulness, and they deliver results! Fitness Connection is dedicated to keep you working toward your best self! Best of all, group classes are included in your membership!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Barre – Barre consists of Dance and Pilates inspired movements which strengthen, lengthen, and tone your body. Train muscles from head to toe using a variety of equipment such as: the barre, free weights, resistance bands, yoga balls, and your own body weight. While you tone, you will also be working your balance stabilizers and stretching your muscles. This blend of ballet, yoga and Pilates can be modified for any fitness level. BootCamp – Get in SHAPE with BootCamp! This combination of bootcamp style exercises, high-intensity interval training, strength training and down and dirty- push yourself to the limit routines are designed to move your fitness level up a notch or two! Each class is unique, but you can count on building strength, improving cardiovascular stamina, and tightening the core. Some of the tools you’ll use are dumbbells, battle ropes, ladder, medicine balls, your body, and much more.

Cardio Kickboxing – Want to improve your fitness and stamina? Take this class and you’ll build strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. The instructor will challenge the beginner and the seasoned athlete by offering modifications to make the boxing combinations easier or harder; you choose! You will jab, cross, bob and weave, throw upper cuts, round houses, and more. The kicks, and combinations of punches and kicks will get your heart pumping! You will tone muscles, reduce stress, build strength and get a fun cardiovascular workout. No hand wrapping needed. This is a No contact class. Give it a shot!

Core Fusion – Core Fusion is a combination of abdominal exercises, and activities which are designed to fortify and strengthen the core section of the body, which in-turn, helps strengthen the back. Supporting the back with a strong core is key to achieving all of the other fitness goals we pursue. Join us for Core Fusion soon!

Senior Fitness – This overall body fitness class focuses on building strength, balance and stamina, cardiovascular endurance, and comradery! Some call it the Fitness Social Hour! These seniors work hard and play hard. Connection, Fun and Fitness Results are the major components of this class. These seniors are a shining example of living a healthy, fit and fun lifestyle. We challenge you to Join in the fun!

Spin - We bring you an outdoor cycling experience indoors with this athletic and authentic cycling ride. Motivating instruction and driving music will keep you energized as you’re instructor leads the class through a workout comprised of hill climbs, flat terrains, head winds, tail winds, and anaerobic intervals. Each workout is different as the instructor picks the terrain and sets the goals for each class. Challenge yourself! Get on the bike and ride!

Strength, Toning & Conditioning - This High Energy, Total Body Workout will leave you feeling like you’ve worked every muscle in your body! Emphasis is on alternating upper body routines & lower body routines throughout the week. We incorporate Plyometric, core-balancing movements, double-triple body combination movements, some Pilates, lots of cardio, and strength training using low weight, high repetition. You are always instructed to go at your own pace! Push yourself to your own limit!

Yoga - Vinyasa style yoga is a spin-off of Hatha yoga which has been practiced for nearly 5000 years, even before the written Sanskrit word. Vinyasa style yoga focuses on the breath (pranayama), and the movement (asana), together they flow one into the other, ONE BREATH-ONE MOVEMENT. The pace can be slow and gentle, or fast and invigorating, building strength and flexibility, balance and confidence. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work at their own personal fitness level, yet challenging themselves enough to find their own personal edge! There is a yoga class for everyone.

We offer Chair yoga for students who have difficulty getting up and down on their knees; and Gentle yoga for students wanting a slower, more restorative practice of yoga, and Vinyasa for the students who want to be challenged. Yoga encourages the connection between mind, body, and spirit creating inner peace, balance, strength, and emotional harmony. Come and give it a try!

Zumba - Zumba is fun! The workout is basic dance - just watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough that you catch on easily. The routines are repeated each week with new additions thrown in periodically to spice things up and challenge the mind and body! The atmosphere we create in Zumba class is absolutely invigorating, the energy contagious and the instructors enthusiastic and energetic. Whether your goal is to lose weight, get fit, dance with a group of people and listen to awesome music, or just to leave your worries behind for an hour, the class will energize and motivate you and possibly improve your health in the process.
