Day1: Arrive at Bole international airport.

Arrival in Addis Ababa at Bole international airport & meet our staff at the exit gate with our welcome company’s logo and transfer to your hotel and city tour depending up on your arrival time in Addis Ababa such as the Ethiopia national museum, which is one of the most well organized museum in sub-Saharan Africa, holly Trinity church and merkato(Africa's largest open air market) and finally drive to Entoto mountain where you could see the bird view of Addis Ababa with an altitude of 3000 m. O/N in hotel.

Day2: Fly to Gondar then drive Sankabar. Overnight camp in Sankabar

After breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Gondar, established by king Fasiladas in 1636 Ethiopian third capital city. Quick city tour in Gondar and divive to Debark town (100 Kms from Gondar), where the head quarter of Semien Mountains National Park is found. Here you take the entrance ticket, scout and local guide. Then you continue driving to Sankabar (31 Kms) the first campsite of the National Park. On this drive you will gain your first impression of the scale and beauty of this highland region, the extraordinary scenery, enjoying the endemic Gelada Baboons and the bone breaker giant bird Lammergeyer roaring around. O/n Camping at Sankabar. – (3200 m).

Day3: Sankabar to Geech Camp Site 5 – 6hrs.

This day is the day that we arrange all the trekking staff including mules and Muleteers for packing and transport of camping gears and all foodstuffs for the trek. It is this day that you start trekking in the half hours walk we see the Jinnbar River and falls, we will cross the river later in the day. After crossing the river, we ascend for about two hours to Geech, which is full of Giant Lobelias. The scenery is wonderful, and heard of the endemic Gelada Baboon can be seen on your way. O/n Camping at Geech Campsite (3600m).

Day4: Geech – Imetegogo – Geech.

This day we will be waking to the best viewpoints in the National park. First you walk to Imetgogo, the view here enables one to look 360 to all directions this is one of the best view in the national park. After a short stay here continue walk to Seha, the other terrific viewpoint in the National park. you will have your picnic lunch and you continue to the last viewpoint, Quedadit. After some stay you walk back to Geech camp site. The walk this day is not hard; it takes about 4 – 5 hours. It is the day that we will be walking in the best part of the national park. If youS are lucky we might have the chance to see mammals like the Simien wolf, Walia Ibex and Klipspringers. O/n Camping at Geech Campsite – (3600m).

Day5: Chenek. Overnight Camping.

You trek to Chenek, you will be walking through the Giant lobelia trees and under these trees, and African Field Rats are common. After picnic lunch you walk on the edge of Elate escarpments (4000m. above sea level), which is another breathtaking view in the national park; finally, you descend to Chenek. Chenek is the best place to see the endemic Walia Ibex and more Gelada Baboon. It takes 6-7 hours walk. O/n Camping at Chenek. – (3600m).

Day6: Around Chenek.

This morning after breakfast you start trek to the second peak in the national Park called Bwahit Ras, it takes about two-hour ascent to the top of the pass at 4200 metres, where you enjoy views that open up to the east over Mesheha Valley to the Dashen mountain range. Looking back, you find yourselves under the cover of the impressive rock formations of Imet Gogo. From Bwahit Ras the path leads steeply down and across the Mesheha Valley.

The rest afternoon will be wandering around Chenek. This site of Chenek has good view and it is also the best spot to observe the Walia Ibex.

Day7: Chenek – Gondar.

The vehicle can reach the campsite of Chenek, so you will drive directly from Chenek campsite via Debark to Gondar. Drive from Chenek to Gonder with stops in some picturesque points. Overnight at Hotel.

Day8: Fly to Addis Ababa:

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. After noon shopping tour and farewell dinner party in one of Ethiopia traditional restaurant before your flight.

Day5. Chenek-Ambiko camp (3200 m)14km/9 hours/.

In cheenk you could see easily one of the endemic mammals in the semien national park (Walia Ibex) and pssibel to see the rare the Ethiopian wolf. This day you are going to trekking about 6-8 hours. Early morning starts again ascending to buhit pass up to 4200m and continue through the village and cheroleba and late afternoon again descend up to 3600m.overnight in Ambiko campsite.

Day6. From Ambiko camp to Ras Dejen and back 8 km/6 hours/.

This is the final trekking day to ascend in the semien mountain national park upto its peak Ras Dejen(450m), which is the fourth highest peak in Africa. It takes 6 up to 7 trekking hours. After once you reach on the peak star to descend to the base campe site Ambiko. O/N in Ambiko campsite.

Day7. Ambiko-chenek campsite 14 km/6 hours/.

Day8. Drive from Chenek to Gondar.O/N at hotel.

Day9. After breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. evening fear well party in one of Ethiopian traditional restaurant.

Day03. Sankaber to Gich/ 10 km/.

This day you walk about 5-6 hours with beautiful escarpment of the simien mountain via jibar water fall to Gich campe site. Late in the afternoon walk an hour to see the highest peak view point kedadit with an altitude of 3760 m above sea level and a wonderful sunset. Overnight in Gich(3600m). either in community lodge or in the tent.

Day04. Gich to Cheeneck /12 km/.

We trek to Chenek, we will be walking through the Giant lobelia trees and under these trees, and African Field Rats are common. Day05. Cheeneck to Ambiko/14km/.

In cheenk you could see easily one of the endemic mammals in the semien national park (Walia Ibex) and rare to see the Ethiopian wolf. This day you are going to trekking about 6-8 hours. Early morning starts again ascending to buhit pass up to 4200m and continue through the village and cheroleba and late afternoon again descend up to 3600m.overnight in Ambiko campsite.

Day06. Ambiko- Ras Dajen -Ambiko(4560m)/8km/.

This is the final trekking day to ascend in the semien mountain national park upto its peak Ras Dejen(450m), which is the fourth highest peak in Africa. It takes 6 up to 7 trekking hours. After once you reach on the peak star to descend to the base campe site Ambiko. O/N in Ambiko campsite.

Day07. Ambiko –Sona/15 km/.

This day you should leave early morning your campsite and start to descend 9-10 trekking hours. You come across probably to spot on the rarely seen Ethiopian wolf and walia ibex. Overnight at Sona campsite.

Day08. In the next day you descending again up to 1000m walking through mulit about 5-6 hour the low land route up to the campsite. Overnight at Mulit. /10km/.

Day09. This day you are going to trecke about 6-7 hours to your next destination campsite mekarebia (1900m). Overnight at Mekarebia. /13km/

Day10. From your final campsite to the trekking exit town called Adarikay takes about 2-3 hour walk. From Adarikay you drive back to Gondar. O/N hotel.

Day11. After breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. evening fear well party in one of Ethiopian traditional restaurant.

Southeastern Ethiopia Circuit.

05 Days Trekking in the Bale Mountains.

Duration:05Days.

Destination: Addis Ababa & Bale mountain.

Day01: Addis Ababa – Bale Mountains.

Drive from Addis Ababa to the Bale Mountains National Park. Arrive at the park headquarters in the afternoon, in time for a leisurely afternoon hike, easy to spot some wildelife around the dinsho area such as Mountain Nyala, warthog and Menelik’s Bushbuck. Birds in this area include the Blue-Winged Goose, the Spot-Breasted Lapwing, the Abyssinian Long Claw, the Wattled Ibis, the Black-Headed Siskin, Rouget’s Rail, and numerous other species. Overnight Camping.

Day02: Trek to Sodota.

Walk through Dinsho and enter the National Park. Around Dinsho, the Mountain Nyala and Menelik’s Bushbuck should be visible. While trekking through the park, there will be a chance to see Ethiopian Wolves. Stop by Habera Waterfall for a nice break. Hiking will take 6-7 hours. Camping at Sodota.

Day03: Trek to Wasama.

Trek to Wasama through a beautiful landscape with stunning views. Pass through Mararo Valley where the Lammergeyer and Verraux Eagles keep nests. There will also be a chance a seeing the Ethiopian Wolf and other species of birds. Around 5-6 hours of trekking. Camping at Wasama.

Day04: Trek to Gebre Gurracha.

Start the day by hiking up Mt. Wasama (4200m) and then continue down into the Worgona Valley. Falcons, raptors, and possibly the Ethiopian wolf will be visible. End the day at Lake Gebre Gurracha, meaning “black lake” in the Oromic language. Trekking will take 6-7 hours. Camping at Gebre Gurracha.

Day05: Sanetti Plateau – Addis Ababa.

Take a short trek from Gebre Gurracha up to the Sennati Plateau to meet vehicles. Return to Addis Ababa.

This trek takes you in the largest Afro Alpine habitant in the whole of Africa. Bale Mountains National Park covers the largest Afro alpine habitat in the whole of Africa. It is an area of high altitude plateau that is fragmented by numerous remarkable volcanic plugs and peaks, beautiful alpine lakes and mountain streams that run down in the deep rocky gorges on their way to the lowlands. It has various endemic mammals including the Ethiopian Wolf, Mountain Nyala, and many endemic birds.

There are picks which rise more than 4000 meters and Mount Tullu Deemtu with an altitude of 4,377 meters above sea level, is the 2nd highest peak in Ethiopia. The Bale Mountains secluded in their high mountains remain to be unspoiled and exceptionally beautiful.

It gives a wonderful trekking opportunity for those who seek a unique trekking experience in the isolated mountains of Ethiopia. Trekking in the Bale Mountains gives the trekker the chance to interact with the local community and witness their culture and way of life.

Day03: Dinsho - Geysay Valley – Dinsho.

Trek to Geysay Valley through the dramatic highland scenery enroot spotting to various species of afro alpine vegetation which covers a vast area from one mountain to the other. En this route you will also spot some endemic birds and mammals. O/N: Lodge or Camping.

Day04: Dinsho –Sentie Platue-Goba.

Drive from Disnho to Senetie Platue, one of the highest pick the national park. The rest of the day trek around Senetie to discover the endemic ethiopian Wolf, Red Jackal.Later in the afternoon, drive to Goba. O/N Hotel-Bale Goba.

Day05: Goba-Wendogenet.

In the morning, drive to Wondogent. The rest of the day have a relaxing trek in the mountain covered by natural forest. O/N: hotel-Wendogenet.

Day06: Wendogenet-Addis Ababa.

After breakfast drive back to Addis Ababa. Afternoon shopping in Addis Ababa and in the evening a farewell dinner party in one of the best Ethiopian traditional restaurants and transfer to airport.
