They are close to the ocean and needed to replace 3 fairly corroded metal towers. To fit into the space, we went with (1) 4-fan and (1) 8-fan Tower Tech cooling towers provided with ABB VFDs. The view from their office was much better in seeing the drift eliminator on Tower Tech than the rust, fans, and piping on the metal towers.

Tower Tech cooling towers are constructed of (FRP) Fiberglass Reinforced, plastic Pultrusion, have a 15 Year Warranty to their structure which is three times that of the metal towers.

Tower Tech has less than 10% of the drift that these other towers do and with no sunlight exposure to the water this also cuts 35-40% of the chemical treatment. This location is in the middle of a parking structure, so this will keep the cars that park there from getting paint and rust damage.
