The San Diego State University City Heights Community Center- Center for Community Counseling is offering affordable counseling service (sliding scale). In fact they won't turn anyone away for payment. Appointments are available every Monday at 2:45 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm. for 50 minutes individual session.
If you, your friends want/need family therapy, they can call the same number & ask for an MFT therapist.

SURVIVORS is hiring a clinical case manager.
The clinical case manager,
along with the rest of the clinical team, will provide assistance to
individuals and families in need of social services. This includes, but
is not limited to, screen client referrals per eligibility criteria,
assist clients in applying for and obtaining social services, perform
psychosocial intake assessments, and spearhead the interpreter program.
SURVIVORS is looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or other related field with a strong commitment to SURVIVORS' mission. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organization, organizational skills and some knowledge of a foreign language. For more information, please see our online posting."
