• Spearheaded the startup and development of an organization possessing risk management programs which focused on prevention, prompt professional claims management, and delivering top-tier leadership which supported corporate goals.
• Collaborated with executive committees, boards of directors, and member agencies to fully understand all needs and requirements prior to the creation of effective strategies.
• Introduced liability, property, safety, and loss control programs within the Marin County Risk Management Authority.
• Delivered key recommendations during a merger between the MCRMA, municipal risk pool, and a large risk pool in the Bay Area and managed the transition for MCRMA members.
• Acquired full leadership over a self-insured workers' compensation program with the FDAC-FASIS fire district's risk pool including identifying and capitalizing upon areas of improvement within current processes. Membership grew from 20 to 265 member agencies.
• Oversaw the completion of risk management operations for the Town of Corte Madera while reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration Services.
