Desert Eye Care is a well-staffed office with both the Eye-Doctor and an Optical Shop. We provide you with the best possible care for your eyes, whether it be medical evaluations like: Diabetes, Blood pressure Screening, Cataracts, Dry Eyes, Allergies, Lid lesions, Glaucoma, Pterygium, Macular Degeneration, Foreign Metal body removal, LASIK evaluations and more… and/or routine eye exam with glasses. You and your physicians are given complete updates of your eye condition/health.

Kids 5 years and over are welcome. Strabismus and lazy eyes (amblyopia) are diagnosed and treated medically. Contact lens fitting is recommended, fitted and followed at appropriate ages.

Medical Insurances: We take Medicare, Medicaid, Amerigroup, Nevada Smart choice/ Check Up. We are in network with most Commercial PPO and POS plans: Sierra Health And Life, United Health Care (UHC), Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, Carpenters, Mail Handlers, Coventary Health, Painters Trust, Tricare, Humana Choice Care PPO, Loomis and Teamsters.

We have an Optical Shop and Laboratory right here at the office. We provide you with convenience of not having to look elsewhere for your frame/glass needs. Selected glass frames are covered through your insurance, Copay and other charges apply for upgrades. We have discounted prices for cash paying patients for frames, lenses and contacts at prices hard to beat around town. We also dispense contact lenses and frames through different manufacturers, and what we don’t have in stock could be ordered quickly. The Optical Shop is well equipped for all your frame and lens needs with brand names like:

We honor outside prescriptions. We could provide expedited service by cutting lenses for brought-in frames or frames chosen in-house. Warranties are available upon request. Simple repairs could also be done in office while you wait, at an additional charge for your convenience.

We are open from Monday-Saturday, with extended hours on Thursday and Saturday. Walk-Ins are welcome.
