Do you suffer from the symptoms of toxic overload?
As you lie on the table, the equipment, which is a wall mounted machine with tubing and a few levers and valves will be at your feet.
As the recipient of the treatment, you will be lying comfortably on your left side and then your back as the colonic is administered.
A small amount of lubricant is applied to the speculum. When you are ready, the speculum is inserted into the rectum. Water flows in and out of the colon via two smaller tubes. One small tube lets the water flow in; the other draws the water out, carrying with it wastes, excess gas, mucus, and undigested food particles, etc.
As the wastewater flows out of the colon, the practitioner gently massages the abdomen to help release its contents. It is possible to see the expelled waste matter when it passes through a special viewing window in the machine. The recipient of the colon hydrotherapy may talk, engage in deep breathing exercises and guided visualization or may remain quiet throughout the entire session.
A private restroom is attached to the treatment room for convenience before and after the session.
In preparation it is advised that you refrain from consuming food two hours prior to your scheduled session. It is also recommended that you hydrate with organic juices or simply water.
Purified water will be infused into the large colon. First-time clients may experience minor discomfort. The 30-45 minute treatment involves several fills and releases of purified water to cleanse the intestines. Massage techniques by the certified colon hydrotherapy specialist may be used to dislodge toxic debris from the walls of the colon. Typically, 25-30 gallons of water goes into and out of the colon.
Most individuals report feeling lighter at the end of a session. Probiotics such as acidophilus is recommended after a treatment. Additionally, drinking sports drinks containing electrolytes may also be helpful while others prefer to consume something light such as a banana or orange for potassium.
