Attorney Ray has been practicing civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate and business. Owning a small firm gives him the flexibility to meet the needs of each individual client and his 30 years of experience include a variety of legal matters in various courts of law. He has also litigated cases through tremendous changes in the Las Vegas Valley and laws relevant to real estate and business.
Attorney Ray is very familiar with the appeals process in Nevada and have successfully briefed and argued a number of his own cases and cases initially tried by other attorneys referred to him. He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and have filed briefs there and is comfortable handling complex litigation matter and welcome inquiries involving these.
He is Chair of the Publications Committee of the State Bar of Nevada and an editor or the Nevada Real Property Practice Manual soon to be released. He is also an Executive Board Member of the Clark County Bar Association, Past Chair of the State Bar of Nevada Appellate Litigation Section. He has served as Program Chair of the Art of Negotiation and Settlement and Jury Deliberations for Howard D. McKibben Inn of Court. He is also a mentor for the Supreme Court of Nevada Transitioning into Practice where he mentors new attorneys through their first year of continuing legal education. He is also the President of the Nevada Center of Foreign Relations which is an independent nonpartisan and nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing programming with quality speakers and contributors dealing with most critical issues facing U.S. foreign policy and foreign relations. He is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas.
