Mosquitoes are flying insects located throughout the world. With over 3,500 species, all mosquitoes have scaled wings, a skinny body, and six slender legs. Female mosquitoes suck blood from humans, killing millions of people each year due to highly infectious diseases.
Not only can mosquitoes spread diseases, they are vector agents that can spread viruses and parasites. Countries and areas that are hardest hit by mosquito-related diseases are Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico, and Asia, killing 700 million people each year.
