City Falafel started in the 1980’s in NYC operating a non-branded chain of small Mediterranean restaurants for the purpose of spreading different restaurant images and brands to better understand the market and see the difference in market reactions to different brands. We continued to operate under different brands for the better part of three decades. The success our individual and small group stores have seen have enabled us to grow steadily.

A New breed of City Falafel stores is being born to catch up to the new era. New and improved online ordering and new store designs under unified brand labels will be implemented as of 2020.

Franchised locations are being opened up and down the East Coast, with 70 plus new locations already in the process of being open by the beginning to mid 2020 and many more under contract.
