Player Development
Griffin Football Club youth player development philosophy and programs are guided by our Long-Term Player Development Plan, which calls for creating training environments where the focus is on the development of our players, and not the short-term goal of winning a game or medal. Griffin Football Club's goal is to develop better players by providing support structures and programs for Clubs, coaches, and parents to implement this player-centric programming at every level of the game.
Our training philosophy involves implementing age-appropriate training curriculum at all levels to ensure the best development of our young players. By understanding the correct areas of focus at each stage of a player’s development, our trainers and coaches can work together to ensure that our players’ education is being correctly facilitated.
Our Long-Term Player Development model is just that, long term, and we aim to provide a standardized and structured support plan to guide our trainers, coaches to assist all our players in reaching their optimum potential in the game. Here we plan and orchestrate interesting, varied, and fun training sessions, set objectives, define success ensure positive reinforcement and smile!
