What is the meaning of Sanskar?: Sanskar is defined as "Introjects" or mental images i.e. what we saw, heard. smelled, tasted & touched growing up, pleasurable or painful, as infants and youngsters that has shaped our personalities, our emotional & interpersonal life, our excitements & achievements, our struggles & sufferings.
These images are universal and common to all of us humans, while also unique to each individual. These impressions are modifiable. Because these images can be modified, we have the practice of psychiatric medicine.
