What should I wear to the spa and bring with me?

Spa Zara is a casual environment. We recommend dressing in casual, comfortable clothing. We provide bath robe, slippers and a private locker for your personal belongings. All jewelry must be removed prior to spa services, but is prefered to be left at home. Spa Zara is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Robe and slippers must be worn to your treatment. Your therapist will provide further instructions based on the type of treatment.

How can I change or cancel my spa appointment?

We require a 24 hour notice for any cancellation or appointment changes. To change or cancel your appointment, please call Spa Zara's reception. We require a valid credit card to secure your reservation. Reservations not cancelled before 24 hours, will be charged 100%.

Are cell phones and pagers allowed at Spa Zara?

The Spa is an oasis of peace and quiet. We kindly request to turn off all cell phones and pagers within the spa.

What should I discuss with my therapist before the treatment?

You will be asked to complete a health profile prior to your spa treatment. This is a standard form and is designed to get a better understanding of any medical conditions such as high blood pressure, allergies, physical illness or disability that might be needed to taken into consideration for a treatment. Complete and thorough responses are appreciated, as this allows us to provide you with the best level of services to meet your needs. Please be sure to inform your therapists of any inflamed joints or muscles. These should be avoided during massage. Also inform your therapist of any discomfort or concerns during a treatment. We recommend that pregnant women and individuals with heart condition or varicose vein should avoid heat treatment and limit the use of sauna.

Should I shave before salt scrub?

The salt used in salt scrub, although gentle, may cause skin irritation, so it is recommended that you refrain from shaving within 24 hours of a scrub treatment.

What are your reservations and arrival time policy?

Reservations can be made at the spa reception desk or by calling. Demand for our spa services is high, so to ensure your preferred treatment times, we recommend scheduling appointments two or three weeks in advance. Spa services are subject to changes. For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled treatment, to allow time to relax in the lounge, or sauna, room. In the event you arrive late for your appointment, please be advised that your treatment will end on time, so that the next guest is not delayed.
