The Florida Vocational Rehabilitation Commission provides services for disabled individuals with physical, learning, or emotional impairments. Application for services must be made through a representative of the commission. Bright Future

Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship awarded to Florida high school seniors who have applied for and met the requirements of the program before they graduate from high school. The Bright Futures Program is comprised of the Florida Academic Scholars, Florida Academic Top Scholars, Florida Medallion.
Scholars and Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Awards. High school students must have their high school guidance counselors submit their test scores and completed coursework to the Florida Bright Futures Program at the Florida Department of Education. Specific coursework, minimum grade point average (GPA), and test score requirements are outlined on the Bright Futures website at www.firn.edu/doe/brfutures. To receive a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
